Dear readers of The Lowell,
Welcome back, for the final time this year, to another issue of The Lowell!
For the last magazine of the school year, we saw it fit to pass the torch to a new generation of The Lowell staff members. We’re proud to say that this magazine was almost entirely designed by our new group of assistant editors. Their creative and original ideas provided a fresh new perspective to our magazine, and we are appreciative of all of their hard work for the magazine and the journalism community as a whole.
As the school year winds down, we also want to notify the community about an upcoming change in our publication. Next year, Mr. Eric Gustafson will be reinstated as advisor of The Lowell after his reassignment late last year. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Mr. Paul Wangsvick for all his work this year and for helping the publication with its continued success. Along with the future editors, we have been in contact with Mr. Gustafson about next year, and we are extremely optimistic about the future of our publication. You can find more information about Mr. Gustafson’s reassignment on our website.
Finally, we would like to take a moment to reflect on our time with The Lowell. All three of us have been a part of this community since our freshman year, and we are filled with so much appreciation and respect for the fellow members of the publication. The Lowell has been an integral part of the high school lives for all three of us, and we will value the experiences we have had for the rest of our lives. We could not be more proud of ourselves and our entire team, and we could not be more excited to see what the upcoming staff produces. From all of us at The Lowell, thank you for an incredible year.
Editors-in-Chief,
Maren Brooks, Kai Lyddan, and Yue Yi Peng
