What makes a good Treasurer and how does that apply to you? 

I think to be a good Treasurer you have to be dedicated, hard-working, honest, and also trustworthy, and that applies to me because I think I’m pretty trustworthy. A few of my friends trust me with their secrets, and I’m also honest.

What will you do once you get elected? 

I’ll try and come up with good ways to fundraise, so like, ways that people will like it, and like, for pi day I might try and fundraise and get up to $314 or more.

What makes a good Treasurer and how does that apply to you? 

A good treasurer I think has to be very attentive in making sure they keep good track of the money and their expenses. I also think a good treasurer should make sure to set a good budget so there’s enough money for what we plan on doing and more, so we can plan extra events for the school. When it comes to my schoolwork or in general, I can be really organized.

What will you do once you get elected? 

I plan on keeping a very detailed spreadsheet to make sure that any question or concern about money I can quickly answer, or if it’s any problem I can quickly solve. I can be a good liaison between accounting and LSA so we can keep everything smooth.

What makes a good Treasurer and how does that apply to you?  

I think being a good treasurer is being organized and smart with money and budgeting. Cause obviously you want everything to be super organized. When you don’t know where money is going, it’s going to be a stressful situation. So I’m a very organized person. I’m such a perfectionist I’m a control freak, so I’m going to make sure things don’t get lost, and super organized. Also being the treasurer you have to have good communication skills cause you’re communicating with the accountant and then also with SBC for fundraisers. And I would say that I’m pretty good at making connections between people, making sure everyone’s clear with what’s going on. 

What will you do once you get elected? 

Once I get elected I will start by setting a budget and trying to stay on that throughout the whole year. And start brainstorming fundraisers so that we can start raising money for the freshman class.
