The annual fall spirit week ended with the Fall Rally on Oct. 5.  The Fall Rally consisted of games and dance performances and more. For the dances, each grade choreographed routines with music based on their theme, the four seasons:

  • 2019 SENIORS – SUMMER
  • 2020 JUNIORS – WINTER
  • 2021 SOPHOMORES – SPRING
  • 2022 FRESHMEN – FALL
About the Contributors
Christina Johnson, Multimedia Editor

I joined the Lowell publication after going to an information meeting. I wanted to become a reporter, but everyone in the information meeting raised their hand to become a photographer...being too shy to be the only one interested in reporting, I raised my hand to become a photographer too. I’m glad I raised my hand that day and now I can enjoy giving Lowell the best graphics I can. When I’m not taking pictures for the publication, I’m taking pictures of cute dogs, pigeons, and flowers I find around the city or playing DDR at an arcade. You definitely won’t find me at the beach because I hate sand.

Andrea Tran, Photographer

I bought a Labrador and named him Kodak, so I can say I own a Kodak Lab.
Find me taking photos, pole vaulting, and avoiding sand :)

Lauren Caldwell, Photographer

As an appreciator of the work of photographers such as Annie Leibovitz and Richard Avedon, I have and continue to be fascinated with the faces of people—their expressions, their environment, and how best to represent the essence of their identity in a two-dimensional snapshot. Generally, you will find me at the movies, the art museum, or a record store. I am a lover of old and foreign films with captivating cinematography and generally, any horror movie I can get my hands on. My favorite film to date would have to be La Dolce Vida and favorite novel— The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. In terms of music, I enjoy punk rock and my taste in art varies—whatever can stir up my emotions.

Susan Wong, Editor-in-Chief

Susan is a senior who spends way too much time in the Journ room. When she is not editing photos, working on the website, designing pages or editing a story, you can find her running in circles around the track, lifting heavy pieces of metal or tossing the pigskin on the field.

Xaria Lubensky, Photographer

Xaria Lubensky is a sophomore at Lowell. She will admit that her hobbies sound like a bad dating website bio: reading, music, photography, and traveling. All that's missing is the 'long walks on the beach' bit, and that's just because she hates sand. She's a fan of those questionable books that make people question ones sanity, and honestly thinks taxidermy is pretty cool, even though everyone thinks she's a vegan. (She's most definitely not a vegan.)
