Christy Vong, Opinions Editor
Christy is a senior and has been on The Lowell since her sophomore year, when she initially walked in with no idea what she had signed up for. The journ room ended up being her favorite class to go to at the end of the day where she got to see all her fellow journ staff. Her favorite pieces to read and write are profiles as she loves hearing and telling other people's human stories and experiences. Christy is also passionate about sustainability and environmental justice, and is part of the Lowell Eco Club and the Sunrise Movement Lowell HS hub advocating for a Green New Deal to combat the climate crisis with other amazing people. She enjoys thunderstorms, long walks at night, biking downhill, farmers' markets, and almond croissants. Christy also wishes that the world wasn't so fast moving, productivity and efficiency driven, stressful, full of meaningless corporate things, individualistic, unhappy, and capitalistic. She is refusing this societal structure as best as she can.
Rae Wymer, Editor-in-Chief
Outside of writing and editing for The Lowell, Rae is typically in water. She can be found at school, any local bookstore, or at her swim club’s pool. Besides journalism, she is known for her good memory, poor eyesight, caffeine addiction, and a love of all things written. In her limited free time she collects The New Yorker, New York Times, and Life magazine.
Sarah Liu, Editor-in-Chief
Sarah is a senior at Lowell and has spent 5 semesters with The Lowell. When she's not writing or at chorus rehearsal, Sarah either spends her time with friends, shooting film, or watching John Oliver skits. She has a plant named Rex (Nina died.)
