The annual Halloween rally held on Oct. 31 in the courtyard featured different contests, including the toilet paper mummy wrap, the individual costume contest, the group costume contest and the teacher costume contest. This year’s individual costume contest winner was junior Benjamin Mobarak as “guy sitting on a toilet.” The winners of the group costume contest were juniors Jared Wang and Christian Pryfogle as the characters from the television show The Fairly OddParents. For the teacher costume contest, math teacher Tom Chan won along with his two children as they dressed up as the characters from Pokemon: Ash Ketchum, Charmander, and Pikachu.
