PHOTOS: A Midsummer Night’s Dream enchants audience

Originally published on November 8, 2015

For the third time in her tenure as the Lowell Drama Department’s director, Teresa Bookwalter brought a rendition of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the Carol Channing theater from Oct. 22 to Oct. 25. In this most recent iteration, Bookwalter sought a minimalist approach, inspired by the critically acclaimed 1970 production of Midsummer by Peter Brook.
