LISTEN: 100 Years of Music at Lowell celebrated through performance of original song and more

Lowell’s orchestra gave a performance to celebrate 100 years of orchestra at Lowell on April 6th. The concert premiered a new song composed specifically for this event, “The Quickening Pollen” by composer Charles Boone. It also featured Lowell Spirit Songs, “Bugle Call Rag”, and others.

Sinfonia Concertante, K, 364

Senior violist Lucinda Walstad and senior violinist Jonathan Chu perform with the Lowell Symphonic Orchestra.

The Quickening Pollen

Performed by violin soloists Marcus Gee-Lim and Celine Lu, viola soloists Kenneth Huang Lily Ou and Daniel Shin on piano.
