Swim team makes a splash against Mustangs in all divisions

The Cardinals swam against the Lincoln Mustangs at Sava Pool on April 7. The Cardinals were victorious with varsity girls winning 122–25, varsity boys, 122–13, JV girls, 129–8, and JV boys, 102–47.

The swim team currently stands first in the Academic Athletic Association in all divisions, with a record of 6–0 for varsity and JV girls,and 5–0 for varsity and JV boys.

The upcoming All-City Championships has been occupying the team’s mind. “With the season culminating with the All-City Champs meet, all we can expect is to have everyone in the right mindset and excitement to do well at that meet,” head coach Cory Vo said.

The next meet will be a sprint meet against all schools this Friday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m. at Sava Pool.
