The varsity baseball team brought home its fourth Academic Athletic Association title on May 11, winning the championship game 6–4 against the Balboa Buccaneers at AT&T Park.
The Cardinals’ next challenge is tackling the Oakland Tech Bulldogs in the TransBay series. The series begins with Game 1 on May 16 at 4 p.m. at Ricky Henderson Field in Oakland.

In the fourth inning, junior third baseman Adam Gardi proved to be a thief after scoring the first run of the night by stealing home off of a missed tag. Prior to stealing home, Gardi stole second and then third base off of a wild pitch.

Breaking the 3–3 tie in the seventh and final inning, senior right fielder Matthew Sam made a beautiful hit that brought home sophomore second baseman Alex Bradshaw.

Junior pitcher Joseph Soloman pitched all seven innings. He pitched seven strikeouts total during the game and had two RBIs.
