Boys’ golf tames Mustangs for third straight victory this season

Senior co-captain Sam Miller admires a shot in the championship two years ago. Miller shot a 31, one over par, on April 6 in the Cardinals’ 199–227 victory over Lincoln.

This was their best score yet on this course.

The boys’ golf team beat the Lincoln Mustangs at the Fleming Golf Course on April 6, winning with a total of 199–227. The Cardinals reached a milestone, as this was their best score yet on this course, according to head coach Juan Lopez. Co-captain senior Sam Miller also achieved a new personal record for this season, shooting a 31 this match, one over par. Following close were freshman Joshua Lim and co-captain senior Lawrence Jiang, who shot a 35 and a 42, respectively.

The Cardinals take on Balboa on April 15 at the Lincoln Golf Course.
